We are a community-led organisation formed from a powerful idea: that the people of Rivers State and the Niger Delta region hold the key to their own prosperity, security and future.
We aim to empower youth and women through civic awareness workshops, entrepreneurial capacity building, and facilitate diaspora investment in local projects.
Our Vision
A thriving Rivers State and Niger Delta region where empowered youth drive economic growth. Safe, secure communities with dedicated, trusted and skilled youth in which our diaspora relatives can contribute actively to the region’s economic prosperity and self-reliance through investment in local economies.
Our Mission
We aim to help the youth re-evaluate themselves, engage in self-renewal and gain confidence, leadership skills and integrity. We will facilitate training in civic awareness, entrepreneurial skills, self-confidence and leadership skills. We will promote and facilitate diaspora investment in local projects.
Our values and principles guide our work and responsibilities.
With perseverance, belief and confidence in our abilities, we can achieve desired results. We learn to do things differently when we fail.
We value education, formal or informal. Our principle is to practice and promote the value of life-long learning for personal development and innovation.
We believe that respect for the rule of law and social order sets the foundation for a secure, peaceful and progressive community.
We value the importance of entrepreneurship and work as the basis for the economic prosperity of communities. We encourage honest & decent work
Regenerating Rivers State through renewal of the mind
For too long, a culture of dependency has limited our communities. While we acknowledge the challenges, we also see the immense potential within our youth and women – the ingenuity, the drive, and the resilience. Our mission is to transform that potential into action.
We are investing in young people, empowering them with the skills and confidence they need to become self-reliant. Our work is about creating a new narrative for Rivers State and the Niger Delta in general – one of economic independence and shared prosperity.
Empowering Youth and Women:
Through our programs, we provide essential training in civic awareness, leadership, and entrepreneurship. We believe that by giving people the tools to create their own opportunities, we can build a stronger, more resilient economy from the ground up.
Connecting with the Diaspora:
We are consulting widely within diaspora communities to seek buy-in, solicit investment and establish a direct connection between our local projects and a network of our supporters in the diaspora.
Connected communities:
We shall work with governments at all levels, businesses, and diaspora communities to create a safe and stable environment for all. A strong community is the foundation of a strong economy.
Building Skills for the Future:
We offer practical, hands-on training that equips participants with the skills necessary to succeed in today’s economy. Our goal is to connect talent with opportunity, helping individuals secure meaningful work or start their own business
The future of Rivers State is now – it’s a shared vision we can build together. Every citizen, resident, and friend of our community has a vital role to play. We are all in it together.
We invite you to join our journey toward economic independence and prosperity. Whether you’re a potential beneficiary ready to take the next step, a donor looking to make a lasting impact, or a supporter willing to spread the word, your participation can transform lives.
Together, we have everything we need to build a prosperous and sustainable Rivers State and the wider Niger Delta for generations to come.
Join us. Build the future.
Your committed support can make all the difference. Will you join us?
We will run workshops and skills training projects in civics awareness, self improvement, leadership and entrepreneurship. We are aware that most young people are not interested or not succeeding in self-employment due to dependency culture.
We believe that part of the problem with youth unemployment and economic inactivity can be traced to mindset and behaviours. We need mentors to help us to change minds in participating and willing young people.
Rivers State is our natural home despite being away living abroad for as long as it has taken. You send significant amount home but you can't feed and support your families forever. Empower them to be economically independent.
